I just watched a delightfully silly movie: Idiocracy. It stars Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph as a couple of people of near average intellegence who sign up for a U.S. Army program that aims to preserve them for a few years.Well, 500 to be exact. And the world in which they awaken is filled with really dumb people and corporations sponsoring and even buying departments in the government.. The sad thing is, I can totally buy our society as heading in that direction. I mean…when I stumble upon news of a couple getting married at Wal-Mart
